    How to keep people from gouging the table on your drill press

    Here's a brilliant solution to stopping woodshop patrons from drilling straight through the table on your drill press: put something cute, or better yet sad and cute, directly in the line of fire. Perfectly applicable to your frustrating shared-shop situation at school, work or home, and very, very effective.

    Created by Gabriel Hargrove, Lynn Lim and William Newhouse at the fabrication shop in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects department.
