Ikeahack for cocktails
Perhaps you've seen this humble item,
Ikea's $1.99 , which makes long, cylindrical pieces of ice that fit inside water bottles.
Instructables member --he jury-rigs it up with strategically-placed plastic straws before freezing the water, creating a center-line void. Once it's done, he removes the plastic straws and voila--a drinking straw made of ice!
It's just a matter of time before this hack makes its way into a New York bar to hasten the consumption of cocktails.
